I'm Diogo Couto, an IT Technician at Displax in Braga, Portugal, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from IPCA. I keep the company's infrastructure running day to day — servers, networking, virtualisation, firewalls — while building the observability tooling that makes it visible.

My focus is on automation, observability and clean infrastructure — from custom Graylog dashboards for real-time traffic and security analysis to containerised workloads and deployment pipelines. This site is itself a personal lab for that: it runs on Docker, Traefik and Cloudflare on a small Hetzner VPS.

On the side, I write software — full-stack work in TypeScript and Next.js, like this site, plus a systems programming background in C, C#, Python and Kotlin from my coursework.
